*Girls DL Trip* OLD THREAD

Finally getting a breather! The parent cheer dinner went well and the overnighter for the cheerleaders was fun. It was a long drive to Ellensburg yesterday with the girls and finally got home last night around 11pm. Got up this morning and took Matt for his sports physcal and reclaimed the house this afternoon. Back to work tomorrow and Thursday and then back to Ellensburg Friday to pick up the 7 girls. I will definitely need a vacation in February at this rate.

I'm sorry you're so nervous. They will want the contrast so that they can see exactly where your esophagus is in relation to all the other structures in your neck. If they don't add the contrast, the air filled area will just look black. It just helps them see the surrounding tissue better. Also, they can see if there is something constricting your esophagus with the contrast it will narrow and widen if there is something pushing into it. I pray it all works out for you. It will not be painful though except for the hunger pains and the pain of drinking the chalky contrast. Hang in there.

Have you had your thyroid levels checked? I'm wondering if that's what they are thinking. Thyroid problems can cause heart palpitations, and if it's enlarged you would feel pressure in your throat.

Yes, they have checked my thyroid. Well by bloodtests anyway and they say it's ok.

Congrats on the Deluxe pass! I just double checked our schedule and I, too, am so pumped! It looks like so much fun and I just can't wait to see all the great chicas from the last trip and meet all the new Divas who will be joining us for the first time! It is so much fun! We are getting temps in the 80's consistently which is a lot for us....normally we get a couple hot days and the rest really cool. I don't mind the heat, but my husband and kids do. It might also have something to do with the fact that I am inside an overly ac'd building most days for at least 8 hours, sometimes 16!

Hello friends!
I've been pretty busy. Yesterday we cleaned house and then went swimming at my aunt's house. We took the girlies home to sleep over. I pulled down Anais' and my mattresses to create one jumbo mattress so we could all sleep together. You should have seen it! It was me, Anais, Cynthia (8yo), and Kristina (6yo) and we were all playing on our Nintendo DS's I'm just a big kid at heart!

Registered for CSUF today and I applied for student loan through Wells Fargo and they were super quick to get back to me! Sallie Mae is still "certifying" and it's been nearly three weeks!

We went to see Doogle for the free movie. It's such a funny & cute movie, I think anyone with little kids will like it. From there we went home and my mom made burgers for lunch. We left to take Anais to mathnasium and while she was there the rest of us went to the Northridge mall. I bought new shoes while Diana was shopping for clothes. Around 5pm, Cynthia, Kristina and I drove the van to pick up Anais and head to my aunt's house to swim. I ended up not swimming but just watching tv with my older cousin, Alicia.

Tonight Anais and I are sleeping over here. As I'm typing (on the floor), Cynthia is sleeping to my left, Anais and Kristina are to my right.

Tomorrow we will be leaving early again to see the other free movie, Surf's Up.

Hi all! I am a bit tired from my double yesterday but doing ok. My dsil and the family are coming over tonight to finalize our disney plans for september! I am making a cake and decorating it using my new mickey head cookie cutter to create a pattern! Very excited! Also, I found out our flight time for our return trip got changed from 7 am to 5pm !!!! Very excited!

Yeah, I just look old enough to be your mom! You look so young! I wish! When Glenn and I went into get his passport when we were about to be married, the guy thought I was his mother! I am less than 3 years older than him, I just have always looked really old.
