Day 5 Monday
Today we got to Epcot at 9:30 or so. We were able to park close enough that we didnt need to take the tram so we were encouraged that the crowds would be a little lighter.
Laura and I went right Mission Space while Jen went to get us FPs for Test Track. We waited about 20 minutes and then were in!! I love this ride. It was Lauras first time but she liked it, too!! It was just after 10 and our FP return time for TT wasnt even until noon! We headed over to the Living Seas, skipped the preshow (I love that they give you this option now) and just walked around for a bit. We didnt see Turtle Talk because none of us felt like waiting in line. After that we went over to Imagination and walked on. The original ride is still WAY better, but this is an improvement over the first rehab. By this time we were hungry so Jen and I got in line for fish and chips (they were just opening) and Laura grabbed some McDonalds. After lunch we went to get FP for Soarin. It was about 12:30 and the standby line was 70 minutes and our return time was for 4:30!!! We walked over to TT and rode there with our FPs. The standby line there was over and hour and it was posted as 30 minutes for single riders YIKES!!!
After TT we went to WS. After the boat ride in Mexico we grabbed margaritas (yum) and FPs for Norway. We took our time walking around and going in the shops. We were planning to take a break and come back later so we skipped the American Adventure. We finished WS, did some shopping at Mousegear, rode SE and headed back to the hotel. Jen and I hit the hot tub the we all changed and drove over to Boardwalk. We cut through and went back to Epcot. We went right over to Soarin. I had done this in CA so I knew what to expect, but everyone LOVED it!! After that we were hungry so we went to Mexico, grabbed a table and more margaritas, and Jen and I got in line. And stood in line. And stood in line. We waited 45 minutes for food. Now, I know it was dinner time and a little crowded, but 45 minutes. It was BY FAR the worst counter service experience EVER. By the time we finished eating it was 8:30 and Illuminations was starting at 9. Since we had a table with a decent view, we didnt move. We never did get back to Norway or America oh well, next trip!! After Illuminations we took a nice slow walk through a closed WS and walked over to Boardwalk. We ended an awesome trip with an awesome night at Jellyrolls!!
