girls bathing suits from disneyshopping.com

does anyone know how these fit and how well they are made? My step daughter wants one of the princess suits, but I don't want to get her one too big OR too small. They have a 7 and a 10, no 8. I don't want her little bum hanging out anymore than I want her in a baggy suit! She wears a 7 in jeans still but is steadily and quickly growing...leaps and bounds by the day it seems!!

any advice? Thanks!!

I know the ones we've gotten at the Disney Store all have plastic iron ons.. and are peeling by midsummer.

I don't buy them anymore.

I have had nothing but problems with all of the ones I have bought in the past. I no longer buy them. The quality is poor and will not last. I have also found that they tend to stretch out and become very tissue thin.

thanks everybody! I appreciate the feedback. I'm going to get her a bathing suit from Lands end. They are pricey, but amazing quality and they stay put on their backsides. I would not be happy to find a suit thinning and peeling by July!

I bought my dd who is also in a 7/8 a couple of Disney swimsuits from Wal-Mart recently. I got her a Princess two piece and an Ariel 1-piece this year. Got her a Princesses 1pc last year and never had any problems with it peeling, riding or anything else. The Ariel suit was also the only 1 pc I've been able to find in a solid 8 instead of 7/8. Dd has a long torso and the 7/8's were just too short on her.

My dd is actually the same size and we always get suits from Costco believe it or not! They are one piece Speedos and they last forever. Always under $15/suit. Beth outgrows them before they start disintergrating or look bad!

I agree with the poor quality of disney suits. Not only do they not hold up, but the fit is terrible. My DD is very thin and their suits run very wide on the bottom.

Thankfully, the speedo suit I bought her last year not only still fits, but looks practically brand new! I still need to get her another one, but I'm waiting for sales on a speedo.

I bought the princess in a 7/8 for 6 yearold dd. it fits her fantastic. actually the best fitting swimsuit she's had for a while. she loves it! she has "junk in her trunk" as dd 20 says and so it's been a great fit for her. We also bought the princess flipflops to match and the matching swim bag too. i have been very pleased with my purchases from disneyshopping.com!!!
