Sully - Me - Disney planner, some say Disney Fanatic
Andie - Best Friend, also loves Disney
Day Two - Saturday
Oh Guess I forgot, our trip was from April 26th to May 3rd.
Saturday, woke up at 6:30, excited to get started. I am always this way at the beginning of my vactions to Disney. This is my 10 trip, and Andie's 7th.
We have coffee, juice and bananna bread for breakfast. We stop at the front desk and make reservations for our Fantasmic Dinner at H&V for Tuesday at 6:00, that way we can see the parade and have dinner too.
The bus went to FW first, grr. We get to MGM at opening, and through security. Got my first picture of the hat. Last trip was August of last year, and this trip is just as warm. We did Walt's 100 year show. This is great, love the Oscar and the movie and the whole thing.
Did Bear in the Big Blue House. Andie has a granddaughter, beautiful little 'almost two' so she taped the show. It was cute. We sat on the floor, everyone sits on the floor.
We then did the Great Movie ride, one of my favorities, did the cowboy scene. We then decided to get somethng to eat at Back lot, burgers were good. Back to the Lodge, wrote a post card to DH.
There were ducks in the pool and we lounged around. Trying to relax. We then got ready to go to Downtown Disney, we have tickets for LaNouba. My DH had bought these for us for my Birthday present. He's sooooo nice. DH and I first saw this show on our last trip, it was great. It still is great. It seemed a little different in spots, but has the same theme. Andie loved it. It is very difficult to describe how good this show is to someone who has not seen it.
We then ambled on down to the Market Place, have to go to WOD to shop. Love that store!! Bought most of my souveniers (sp) and received a discount too. We are still recuperating, so we head back to the lounge. Just missed a bus, so we have a bit of a wait, then we head to FW again, grr. We make it back to the lodge, just before 11 and order nachos from Territory Lounge along with a drink. Hey Ruben is still there. He tells us he did not back to Minnesota but it was too cold there so he came back. He and DH got along real well a couple of years ago.
We are back upstairs before midnight. We are tired.
OH forgot to mention, when we got back to the room, Mousekeeping had made us an Alligator out of towels, and put it on the bed. Just love Mousekeepers. Pixie dust. I'll leave the Minnie out and she if she'll incorporate that for tomorrow.
Tomorrow is Sunday 4-28 - Plans are MK and then EPCOT. Orleans is still playing, hoping to catch them.
