Hi all, went to WDW 2 years ok, had some great bargains on clothes at Belz etc, also had great buy on clinique duty free, will be raiding walmart. Belz etc again this year and plan to go to Florida mall and Orlando Premium outlet, question is, what are my MUST buys, what brands are ridiculously cheap, that i can't leave for home without them? :teeth: I was thinking of cosmetics like, maybelline, revlon etc which i think are american so, i was thinking would be cheaper :confused3
what should I be looking for? :earseek:
What have they almost paid you to take away? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I found an excellent cosmetics shop in one of the malls last oct, they had TONS of bargains on clinique, estee lauder, prescriptives etc and sold all those little cosmetics bags full of travel size products that you normally get free when you buy 2 or 3 skin products, the bags were for sale for between 8 and 20 dollars depending on size and i bought heaps for xmas pressies for my girlies. they also had gift boxes of perfume/body lotion etc at about half the uk price, i.e large estee lauder pleasures gift set $30 in debenhams was about £60!!!
can't remember which mall it was but it was the one with the huge ralph lauren if thats any help princess:

hi claire

i was going to say the same shop its fantastic its at orlando premium outlet i hink the name is something like the cosmetics store it is a small shop. There are a few cosmetic shops there but that one is the best. My dh is going for a boys week in may and i have already prewarned him there will be a list.

The gap shop and old navy are very good for your shorts and t shirts i would get most of your shampoos etc etc out there simply due to the weight.

Last time we went in feb we used to go to super target for the groceries its similar to tesco but nowhere near as busy as walmart and all the fruit and veg is nicely displayed also when you got to the checkout you dont have a massive queue. We use the one in kissimmee as we have a condo there.

Oh yes, claire forgot to say my BEST bargain, My favourite Estee Lauder moisturiser which is idealist skin refinisher (if you haven't tried it you MUST) is only $37 for a large pot there and its about £79 for a large pot here!!!!
YAY

In the premium outlet there is an underwear shop which sells the maidenform range I bought 4 bras which would have cost £80+ in the Uk for just £25! The selection was huge and they had all sizes. I'm a big girl so that's important to me.

Hiya  I found Walmart great for Maybelline, Revlon and they also have Cover Girl stuff which we can't get over here anymore. Even Rimmel stuff is cheaper than back here, madness! Vitamins and ibuprofen are also lots cheaper for bigger size jars too.

Anz :earsgirl:

Thanks all, will definately give the cosmetics store a visit and target, heard good things about target last time but never got there, so many shops so little time! :earseek:
carolfoy, i haven't tried that estee lauder cream but, for that price i think i should! may tempt my from my favourite clinique! :earsgirl:

any more feel free to join in! :grouphug:

If you are into health food supplements etc there is a shop at the Buena Vista outlet - stocks the same as Holland & Barrett (labels are the same except for the name) I can't remember what it was called but it was sssssooooo cheap. Our children take EPA tablets and 250 here cost around £17, we bought this huge bottle of 500 for around $20 I will be definatly making a beeline for them again

Oh and also there is a nike factory store along the 192 - really cheap - they have small amounts of each item in a few sizes but its really cheap - its past the 24hr Walmart going away from the parks on the left hand side of the road in a parade of shops with a Dollar Tree - we bought the boys nike hoodies for $10! and trackie bottoms for the same price - that's another shop that we are heading for again.

OH, OH and obviously Character wharehouse for all your Disney souvenirs and..............I could go on for ever DH says I was born to shop and I never pay full price for anything!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

My must go to shops are:

Calvin Klein in Premium Outlets or Belz (I brought 3 pairs of shorts for £4 each, plus the jeans are fab)
Ralph Lauren in Premium or Belz - excellent bargins
The Gap in LBV Outlets
Any of the Reebok shops
Tommy Hilfinger - in Premium

I didnt think much of the Florida Mall though - not enough bargins for my liking

Have fun

Just 2 let u no that Clinique is ment 2 b cheaper duty free coming home than in the malls (according to my Brits guide). l did buy quite a bit but didn't really check out the mall prices.

My favourite shop is Potterybarn in the Florida Mall but the only thing was the bedding l wanted was catalogue order only and they don't deliver to the UK :sad2:

Check out the pretzels in the Florida mall, the raisin and icing 1 is lovely!!!

no many bargains to be had in millenia mall apart from l'occitane shop,i bought loads of stuff at half the price in the uk!
Premium outlet is bar far the cats whiskers! there's a haircare shop near the reebok shop (don't know name).I bought expensive potion number 9 by sebastian (i think!) again for half the price!!!

Thanks Claire, this thread is just what I wanted as I too am going in a few weeks. :Pinkbounc I am reading all the tips with great interest.

Do try and make time for Target (or even better, Super Target!). I was always a WalMart girl but discovered Target for the first time in December and now Target gets my vote! The clothes are great and very cheap!

Just got back 2 weeks ago. Did my usual stocking up of Clinique at the cosmetics shop in in Premium Outlet Mall. Got wash off cleanser, soap, clarifying lotion, repairwear serum and the mosturiser in a nice cosmetics bag for a total of only $28 (plus tax)!!! Also got my sister a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette for $32 - probably about £35 in UK.

Also got some great jeans from DKNY at Belz Designer Outlet for only $30

Some gorgeous handbags at the Premium Outlet Mall - Dooney & Bourne and Salvatore Ferragamo - still quite expensive though

Julie

ooooooooohh handbags, now you are talking juliebro, was going to add on to ask for expert handbag advice, i had a great one from tommy hilfiger last time, leather and denim $19.99, from the outlet at belz, will of course be on the look out for another! ::MickeyMo

if anyone uses the australian gold tan accelorators (can't spell!),then head for any supermarket in Orlando. It retails at approx £16 over here.I bought it in publix and wallmart for roughly £4 a bottle!!I nearly did cartwheels in the aisles :Pinkbounc
