I'll be meeting up with some old college friends during my next visit down in February. Where's a good place that would be open after park closing around 9 to get cocktails and gab? Hoping for Boardwalk/ Disney Springs area, or any of the resorts.

Jock Lyndsy's Hanger Bar in Disney Springs or Trader Sam's at the Poly.

^^^^^ Yup

Boathouse Dockside Bar - Disney Springs
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar - Disney Springs
Morimota's Sushi Bar - Disney Springs
Belle Vue Lounge - Boardwalk Resort
Trader Sam's - Poly Resort
Raglan Road - Disney Springs

All great suggestions except I'm thinking Raglan will be way too loud for a "reunion visit" gathering.

Trader Sam's could be fun but you might also not get in very easily.

For ease of parking and meeting I would stick to the Disney Springs ones.

Thanks, those were some concerns I had about Trader Sam's, and a good point about Raglan. I think we'll be using the buses to get around (or maybe monorail loop), so parking may not be too much of a problem if it comes to resort spots?

Thanks! I'll have to look into some of these that weren't on my radar.

Someone mentioned the Belle Vue Lounge and that would be my pick. Nice and quiet for the most part and you can sit outside on the large balcony and watch the actions on the boardwalk. Of course the view over to the Yacht and Beach club is really nice at night. The bar tender's are pretty cool as well. It is one of my adult go to spots.

The Wave at the contemporary has a fantastic wine bar if wine is your thing. Cozy seating areas as well! Shouldn't be crowded much either.

Territory Lounge at WL would be my pick for a quiet spot to talk. A bit harder to get to. Maybe try the bus or boat from MK.

Jock Lindsey's is new and fun (and not always very crowded) but I didn't find the mixed drinks very good at all. Reggie's Revenge was just blah IMO.

We didn't like Jock Lindsey's. There's not a lot of seating, and of course the place is packed. We stood around for almost 30 minutes before sitting space became available- and we were only a party of 2! We each had a drink and agreed that they really aren't very good- I agree with the PP who said they were blah.

Outside at Big River Grill? We had fun here, but were drinking beer. Not sure how the mixed drinks are.

My favorite is the balcony outside of the Belle Vue Lounge at the Boardwalk. It's kind of quiet but you can watch the Boardwalk activity. The Crews Cup at the Yacht Club is nice too and they serve food if you want snack on something.

My favorite is the bluezoo lounge at the Dolphin. It's very adult, quiet, and the mixologists there have a huge variety of specialty drinks that they offer. Unless there's a convention at the hotel, this lounge is generally much quieter than any of the Disney resort lounges. You can google to get their specialty drink menu but they will make you anything you desire.

There are nice lounges at BWI, YC and BC. You could also do the lounge at blue zoo (which is really nice) in the Dolphin or the lounge at Il Mulino at the Swan. Really a lot of nice, quiet cocktail places in the Boardwalk area

Wilderness lodge has a nice little quiet lounge called Territory Lounge. Off the beaten path, wonderful lobby to walk through and if you are lucky, you can snag the couch and comfortable chairs to sit at and gab to your hearts content. Hidden gem. I second the Crew's cap if you are near the Boardwalk area. And you may think this is evil, but you could buy wine and beer on the boardwalk and find a wonderful outdoor table on the boardwalk landing area and pull up a chair.

Lots of great suggestions! I'll have to do more reading and see which one looks like the best option for us. Thanks everyone!
