My friend just asked me to go swimming at their house and i want to go but i am on my PERIOD!!!!
My only option for me to go is to wear a tampon.

I don't see wearing a tampon as bad. I've worn one since the first day I got my period and I was 11!

Some girls get so freaked about them and I was one of those when I first started getting my period, but my mom said they are much better then pads and bought me some and actually helped me the first few times and it has been a piece of cake ever since. I rarely wear pads except on my last day or two when I am really light or just spotting.
