I was at our council shop yesterday, and they had 3-types of scrapbooking paper. I believe they were the 12x12 size.

1. was an "all-over" print with a blue background, and "Girl Scouts" written all over it in white.

2. Was the same as 1, except the background color was green

3. Was an all-over kind of print with a tiny camping scene on it - including a tent and canoe.

I know there were threads in the past month or so talking about the lack of GS papers. So I thought I would share what I found.

Thanks for posting. I think I have seen the last two you mentioned and have them, but the blue is news to me. Maybe GSUSA is starting to get with the program.

Maybe...or maybe that council just decided to pick up some of the "almost" GS stuff. Any idea if this is licensed and has the logos?

I just got some at my council last week for the swap. They also had packs of solids in the GS colors - the green, blue, brown, etc. I'll have to look on the back to see if it was licensed. I believe it was. They also had stickers.

I guess I am making a road trip to my council this week. I will have to check this out. I'll let you know what I find out ladies.

Sue,

Let me know when you're going...since it is right next door to the Boy Scout office I may beg a favor if I can and ask you to check out the Eagle album.

Can do. I think I am going tomorrow. I have an appointment for an ultrasound in the PM so I can not work. Not for anything exciting. Ovarian cancer runs in my family so I have an ultrasound done every 2 years as a precaution.

Let me know exactly what your are looking for.

I think I'll give our council office a call before I run out there. That is great news! I hope that everyone finds some :wizard:

I called my council today and asked about the paper. I was told they didn't have enough room to stock it. Too bad for me. :confused3

Bummer. And, short sighted. Chances are they'd sell way more of that than some of the other "trinkets" that our Scoutlet stocks. Oh, and can we say draw? Pulls people in and maybe they spend on other stuff.

Oh well, thanks for the offer anyway Sue. I'll get over there eventually. Maybe Sat. morning. Am supposed to run the girls to MIHS training and may have time to stop on the way back.

Ok, I was doing a bit of cleaning up tonight so that I can work on my GS swap stuff and I took out the papers that I purchased from our Council office.

The paper that clh2 described with the blue color and the green color with Girl Scouts written in the same color is from It Takes Two and is GSUSA trademarked (approved or whatever it said). http://store.yahoo.com/ittakestwo/
Here is what they sell at Girl Scout Council Shops that carry scrapbooking items:
http://www.ittakestwo.com/Girl Scouts/HomePage-2.html

The 12 X 12 stack of paper that had white paper with Girl Scouts in green letters and then solids of two shades of blue, Brownie Brown, Junior Green is from www.createforless.com and here is the link (they have the paper I was just talking about but at our Council office it was $16.99 for the 12 X 12 where they have it listed at $17.99).

Then there was some stuff I picked up at a scrap store but it wasn't official but there was website...
www.caroleescreations.com but I can't find the paper I purchased. It was a dusty white with different words relating to Girl Scouts. But this was what was on the back of the paper.

Hope this helps
Chris

Yes, thanks for sharing that info.

I have been searching for GS supplies, too.
