My daughters troop starts taking orders on the 2nd. It feels like we just finished last years sales. Anyone else gearing up for cookie season?!

We started selling three weeks ago, it's going okay. They stopped selling my favorite flavor, Double Dutch and added a new flavor! our pre-sales end in a week!

At the cookie mom meeting they gave us all a box of those Cafe cookies to take home and sample....We all tried one and tossed them away...it was like eating a piece of wood and no flavor!

I order DH 2 boxes last month, and they will be coming in Jan. EVERY WEEK I hear.."When are the girl scout cookies coming" I cannot wait till our order gets here. (Actually its his order)

I am the cookie mom for our troop of 8 girls this year. God help me. BTW the new cookie is called a "cafe cookie" and it's suposedly like Biscotti (Sp?). They did dump double dutch, and they also RAISED THE PRICE here for the first time in years, from $3 to $3.50. I always take DD#2's form to school (ask HS boys if they want cookies, ha ha ha) and we do very well that way, but I have a feeling we may be closer to 200 than 300 this year with the price increase.

Our cookies have stayed at $3 a box although the amount of cookies in a box have decreased over the years. Our neighboring council sells for $3.50 a box so we get alot of questions about that. They did sell the Pinatas cookies the last 2 years which helped them but are not selling them this year.

First time in the last 7 years we will not be selling them. My older DD has decided she no longer wants to be a GS

We started presales on the 16th and go till near the end of January.

Our "cookie season" around here is in September, when school starts, so....
thankfully we are all finished with that!

And my DD isn't in scouts anymore, but at least we don't have to buy anymore cookies from neighbors...I can eat a whole box of thin mints in 1 sitting.

And both my DD11 & DS7 loved the new Cafe cookie.
