What a great price, considering they are usually twice that!

One thing to note- the skirt is sold separately (:rolleyes2 ). So this is just the girly elf (I hear she has makeup and earrings), without a skirt, and the book references a girl elf as well. So if you're looking for a skirt, I don't want you to be disappointed!

I signed up for their membership program and got free shipping, just have to cancel it when my 2 months are up.

I was just coming here to post this. I've wanted one for Christmas but couldn't stand to spend $30 for the kit... SO happy to get it for half price. Maybe we will get her skirt next year. I have looked for a sale on this last year and for the last few weeks, very happy to get this! I did the free shipping too, will need to note my calendar to cancel it in time.

I ordered one as well. As much as I had been wanting one for the last few years, I just couldn't make myself buy it at $30 either. LOL I hope my girls will love it!

I am hoping they do a sale on a boy one. I really want one of these but I have 2 boys.

I sucked it up and ordered the boy one a few weeks ago. I saw this deal but honestly, didn't feel like a girl elf would be right.. lol. Maybe if I had just girls but with my son, I think he might have questioned it.

Word of warning, these dolls are so cheaply made. You're gonna kick yourself for spending over $5 on it anyways. I cut mine open and stuck wire in the arms and legs so they're actually bendable. I also cut apart his hands and glued velcro to the palms so he can hold onto things.

going off topic a bit but that is what I am dying to do. How did you do so and what kind of wire did you use? And did you use fabric glue for the velcro dots or just some super glue? Thanks!

That's brilliant. I got our elf tonight and I WISH I was crafty enough to fix him up. I have no idea what I'm going to do.

Darn, I ordered our girl elf last week along with the adorable skirt.... Too bad I didn't know about this! It is a good price:) oh well.... She arrived yesterday and will be making her first appearance Friday morning!

I just snipped the thread at the very tip of his fingers/toes. Make sure to bend the wire into a circle so it won't poke through the fabric (do this on both ends) and I just slid it in. I didn't even sew it back up (too much work.. lol). I superglued the velcro on. It's quite the improvement. I was very disappointed with how flimsy and cheaply he's made but he's been "out" for 2 nights now and the kids are just in LOVE with him so all in all, I'm glad I spent the $30.
