I just bought a Restaurant.com GC for Giordanos. We've never eaten there, but thought it was worth risking the $2 (yay 80% off).

We're staying in Emerald Island, so it should be very close.

Anyone have any reviews of this place?

We just returned from our trip and used a Groupon at the Kissimmee location - it was so good!!! Service was great, too. It takes them over half an hour to bake your pizza, though, so plan for a more leisurely paced dinner. :) I didn't know they were on restaurant.com - I'll have to grab a coupon for the next trip!

Great to hear it was good!

Yes - on restaurant.com - and it was 80% off today! So we paid $2 for a $25 cert.

We'll be getting to Orlando about 2 hours before check-in at our house, so we will have time for a nice, late lunch. this will be perfect for it!

I love Giordano's.. with or without coupons! Their stuffed pizza is a true meal. It really is good.. once you try it, you will become hooked on it. I can eat that once a week.. that is if I am up there once a week :thumbsup2

A place we'd eat at every night if we could (and at times we have been there 3 times in 5 days!) everything we try there is great! Having a good coupon just adds to an already great meal.

We didn't have the pizza there. I ordered some kind of pasta dish and my friend ordered lasagna. Very unmemorable. I've also had the thin crust pizza. Also not a big hit. So that leaves the deep dish that I have never had. Must be good, lots of good reviews.

Deep dish pizza is what they're famous for. We always eat there 1-2x each trip and have never been disappointed. Wish they would offer restaurant.com certificates to the one in Chicago too as we'd eat there more often if they did.

We ate there a few weeks ago and it was good. If you have small kids I would not recommend getting the deep dish pizza it take too long to cook. I couple we was seated just before us and had their order taken before us did not get their pizza until we were about to leave. We ordered a thin crust pizza plus it was a good 5-10 minutes after they placed their order, that our order was taken. They only ordered a small deep dish.
So go prepared to wait for your pizza.

Ours on the other hand was very good. Sauce was good and you could tell it was not canned.

I've bought the gift certificate too so we'll be trying it in the fall. My sister and her family LOVE this place. They've told me more than once how wonderful it is and they eat there at least once on every trip and she said their teenage sons will sometimes request a second visit before the week is out.

Where is Giordano's located? We're staying on 192 at Royale Parc Suites.

There is a Giordano's on 192 near Formosa Gardens and another on 535 near Lake Buena Vista.

And a third (new in the last year) near Wyndham just off International Drive on the same street as the Worlds Largest McDonald's playland (opposite side of International drive from that "attraction").

I've been to them all & like the Lake Buena Vista/535 location best but they were all good. MMM - be there in 30 days! Can't wait. My daughter was there this week & ate at Giordano's twice in 5 days. It's that good! Also just another stop light down, in front of the Winn-Dixie - is Tastee Treat soft ice cream. For under $3 you can get a GREAT cone or dish - even a sundae! Great for a tasty desert or anytime.

We ate there this week with a $10 Restaurant.com cert. A $25 would have been much better because the $10 left us with a substantial bill for four. The food was very good and the service at lunch spectacular. As mentioned above, however, it took more time than we expected and we were rushed to get back for the afternoon parade as we'd planned.

I will definitely look for a higher value cert when we come to Orlando again.

We ate there for the first time in May, and loved the deep-dish pizza! We also purchased a gift certificate from Restaurant.com and used it without a problem.

We are at Giordano's last night - and had leftovers tonight - and will have leftovers AGAIN tomorrow. :)

No problem using the restaurant.com certificate! And it was right around the corner from Emerald Island!

Two thumbs up from me! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

this is a must for our family when we got to FLA love the deep dish but one slice or two and im full .
