Does anyone know what time they start delivering and what location you would call if you were staying at BWV?

I thought ordering a pizza around 3:30pm to sit and eat on the Boardwalk would be a nice way to pass the time waiting for the ME to pick us up for our flight home, but haven't ever ordered from Giordano's before. I checked their site but don't see hours.

Thanks!
Ann

Hi,

Sorry I can't answer your question, but are you aware that there is a pizza window right at the Boardwalk?

At the Boardwalk, I think you will use the Formosa Gardens location. I know that the Crossroads location is very close to Downtown Disney. They deliver 11 am-midnight.

Yup---I did know that, we stopped in for pizza on a break during our MGM/DHS day in 07 and it was probably the worst meal of our trip (although that could just have been a fluke). The pizza wasn't that hot and the ingredients just didn't taste that fresh.

After hearing all of the rave reviews about Giordano's and knowing how much my DH loves deep dish, I decided it was the way to go! Around NJ/NY we are always getting thin crust and the deep dish Chicago style should be a nice change of pace.

Thank you for the suggestion though and if we decide time is too tight to get one delivered---chances are we'll give the take-out window another shot. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately, all of Disney pizza is that way in our eyes...and most Florida pizza. We did Giordano's once in Florida. Chicago pizza it's not...but it was the best pizza we've had in Florida. Good luck.

Oh trust me, I know not to get my expectations too high. In our area, we have LOTS of great thin-crust pizza and had real Chicago deep dish a few years back when DH was graduating from bootcamp up there and it was SOOOOOO GOOD. :lovestruc

I'm sure for most, Giordano's is really good pizza---for me, I'm just hoping for the best pizza I can find in FL. It would be like going to California and looking for the best Philly Cheesesteak. I KNOW they will be the best around here---but I'm looking for the "least bad" if that makes any sense. :rotfl: :rotfl2:
