Gingersnap being friends with Wendy and Alice

That's her quite-unofficial nickname (of which I had no part in choosing).

Gingersnap made a relatively rare appearance with Wendy during Disney Character Fan days, and here's visual evidence:

Yesterday, March 7, I saw Gingersnap in her more customary role as a friend of Alice:

I don't know if she has ever been a friend of Tinkerbell, although that is not unusual for those who appear with Alice and Wendy.

Are we completely sure they are friends?

At first look, absolutely. However, I put the two pictures side by side and I am not 100% convinced. The ears, the nose, and most specifically the chin and the neck make me wonder if maybe they are sisters, not friends.
