I would be green with envy if it were as simple as Lily not thinking my room was worthy of a winning room. However, since VMK told me that I was getting a cute little jacket for participating, I am more red with anger than anything else, sadly.

I for one am very grateful that we have gotten atleast something for participating. (even tho this was my first competition) VMK could have just given out prizes to those who won and not to us participants, but yet they were very nice and gave us all a little something to remember the Competition we were in.

Yes the Beanie and Jacket are very cute and even tho they messed up with how they worded everything at the begining. I'm still happy with what I got.

That's just adorable. I never bought the sweater and hat set that were for sale because they looked so bizarre to me, but I would have totally bought something like this.

This is true, I may do that. I'm just wondering if something got screwed up and I didn't know about it. I did get the confirmation email, but when judging time came and went, it wasnt until I was on the list, and a friend happen to speak to lily (i believe) about it that I got the flag. I don't want to seem like a greedy person everytime a prize for this is given out and I "complain" about not having my prize ya know Though, I do think this is a neat gift, and it truly was my first attempt at a contest, though not very good, it was an attempt none the less. But anyway, heres hoping

Just to follow up on my previous post. They have re-named it to Red instead of Blue.

They have now changed the prize descriptions to read:
"Grand Prize & Runner Up Participation Awards:"

Additionally, where it used to say, "Blue Winter Jacket" and "Blue Winter Beanie" it now reads: "*These items are gender specific – boys will get the Red version, while girls will receive the Pink version."

Also, for anyone who is interested, we learned tonight that although not stated in the prize information, the orange gum drops are not trade able.

During judging they apparently lost some (dropped?) in rooms and already determined they were set to non trade by the owner of one of the bits. As we all know that status can chage - it might however be a year or so...
