I love ginger flavored anything, especially ginger ale. There is a certain brand of ginger ale I've only seen up north and I wish we had some down here because it is the gingeriest (is that a word? No? Now it is! ) ginger ale I've ever had.

This is the only time of year I make chocolate gingersnaps. Love them with tea!
Villainess, here in Michigan our ginger ale is(was) Vernors brand. Not sure if it's still around though. Is that what you remember? It definitely had a kick to it.

And Vernor's....gee, that brings me back. I associate (flat) ginger ale with being sick, though.
