What are your favourite places for lunch? Preferably non-counter...

Thanks!!!! :thumbsup2

At the Magic Kingdom we like the Plaza rest. Great salads and sandwiches and it cost only a lttle bit more than counter service. Last time I ordered a salad with pears and gorg. cheese. Yummy! Very relaxing and casual. They do take adrs.

When in Epcot we like to walk to the BW to visit ESPN for a nice midday break.

Kona Cafe offers a nice lunch and is just a quick monorail ride away from MK.

The absolute best lunch in EPCOT is in FRANCE

I think it is a pre fixe at $15 pp and the food is fantastic.

Please check it out...took me 10 trips to get to France and eat and now I will always return..

big runner up for me is whispering canyon in WL..fun place, food great
also, love Brown Derby as well.

Garden Grill

Planet Hollywood

Rain Forest Cafe

I love Les Chefs de France for lunch too! As mentioned above they have a three course prix fixe menu that is 14.95. It is an outstanding deal!

While I like the ones already mentioned, Liberty Tree Tavern is also great for lunch. I love the pot roast.

Crystal Palace also is pretty good for lunch. If you get an ADR for around 2:30, they bring the dinner food out at 3PM, so you can get food from both meals. Plus prime rib at a lunch price is pretty good.

Don't forget about Earl of Sandwich over at DTD. There are some great sandwiches to choose from.

Our all time favorite lunch is The French Lunch at Chefs de France. My husband and I have gone there three years in a row (Each time is rains, and we actually feel like we are in Paris, except we have Mickey ponchos on, LOL) Our second favorite is The Brown Derby (but for dinner). The beef tenderloin is to die for, as are the crab cakes and the Fess Parker Chardonnay (they make a great appletini as well). My husband will not go to Disney without a stop at the Whispering Canyon Cafe for the skillet (lunch or dinner) and a yard of cold beer. He just loves that place. Food always tastes better when you are served and cleaned up after and of course when it's at WDW!

It seems there are alot of us who go for the lunch at CHef's de France, the $15 special. But the main reason I like it is the that window side tables afford the best opportunity for people-watching.

Some of our favorite table service restaurants for lunch:

Kona Cafe
Sci Fi
Liberty Tree Tavern
ESPN Club
Chefs de France

Hi, The GF Cafe is SO RELAXING for lunch! The FOOD and DESSERTS are always well worth heading over to the GF for! Breakfast is VERY GOOD here too! Joan

Kona Cafe is a nice quiet lunch. We like eating TS for lunch b/c its cheaper than dinner. We usually eat b-fast at the resort, have a TS lunch and then a late CS dinner.

The Living Seas for a late Lunch, Sci-Fi & Prime Time cafe :hippie:

The best place for lunch in all of WDW is the Sand Trap Lounge, at the Eagle Pines/Osprey Ridge Golf course.
Nice, quiet, relaxing--a must for us each trip.

In the MK, we love the Plaza if we want quiet, and Cosmic Rays if we just wanna grab n' go. Also, for fans of the 100 acre wood, dont forget the CP

In MGM, dd has always loved pizza planet, even though I always thought it was like Chuck E Cheese, a place where I used to take her all the time :confused3

MK: Plaza or hop on the monorail to Kona Cafe
MGM: Sci- Fi or 50's Prime Time
Epcot: we tend to eat here at dinner time. We usually stay at Beach Club and have lunch at Beaches and Cream
AK: Tusker House or Flame Tree

MGM: 50's Prime Time Cafe
MK: Cosmic Rays
Epcot: Le Cellier
AK: hmmm don't have one
