Day 6
Didn’t wake until 07.30 today, I think we’re adjusting at last! We got to TL for opening and found a nice shady spot. It was actually VERY busy with absolutely loads of children which surprised us being termtime. After 2 – 3 hours we’d had enough so went back to BCV, had a light snack from the Marketplace and spent a couple of hours beside the pool. At 15.15, Tony left for his golf Tee time and I went into Epcot and wandered around World Showcase. It was nice to spend time just looking at the shops as it’s not his favourite occupation! I then went back to Beaches and Cream and had an ice cream which I ate on one of the rocking chairs overlooking the Boardwalk.

I’ll probably be very unpopular here, but I really don’t like the Boardwalk and I don’t like Stormalong Bay either – too crowded, too small, too close in and too noisy – told you I’d be unpopular!

When Tony got back, he was thrilled to have seen an Armadillo on the course but was tired from playing in the heat so we had some Nachos at the bar for dinner and spent ages talking to another guest. Got back to the room around 10pm, watched a little TV and bed.

Day 7
We were up early today as we had our only breakfast reservation at Fresh. We walked over to the Dolphin in ever darkening skies. Breakfast was great and although the menu quoted the price as $16.95 pp we were charged $24 total BEFORE our DDE discount! We didn’t argue!

Our plan was to go to US but I’d woken with headache which resisted analgesics and the rain (from Rita passing)was close so we went to DTD instead. We bought some Christmas decorations and a couple of presents then went back for a late lunch. Once lunch had digested, Tony went to the gym and still feeling below par, I watched Dallas and Dynasty on TV – a real blast from the past!

About 4pm we caught the boat to MGM. We did Startours and WWTBAM – we were selected to sit in the Fastest Finger First seats but sadly didn’t get chosen to play. We then did TOT and caught the boat back. We decided to eat again at the bar and watched Illuminations again from the balcony.

Oh how wonderful to spend some time on your own around World Showcase, my DD's love going there, but it's always a stroll through without really having a chance to look in each country.

BTW I loved Dallas too :)

An ice-cream in a rocking chair watching the world go by, How lovley :goodvibes

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

I am enjoying all your reports - forgive me if I don't post on every one (Shhhh! I'm at work :guilty: )

I would have loved to have seen a wild armadillo. Can you walk round the golf course with someone who is playing? I do this with my hubbie here sometimes.
