Giftshops?

Does anyone have a favorite gift shop? We're going to Disney and this will be my daughters first trip, she is 2 1/2. She loves stuffed animals so of course we're letting her pick one out, is there a specific gift shop that has a good selection that you all recommend????

most gift shops in each park carry the same things. I do love the gift shop right outside Muppets 3D for stuffed muppets. My fave.

There will be no problem with finding a stuffed animal to fall in love with....the marketing folks at WDW are diabolical geniuses!! There is a huge selection at World of Disney at DTD, but as pp mentioned, there is pretty much the same stuff everywhere.

My son picked up a stuffed Animal (muppet character) and my daughter has started a collection of stuffed character "babies"..the disney character is a baby and wrapped in a blanket! These are really cute and plentiful...if you are not careful, she will want every one, so just keep her focused for 1 or 2 favorite characters. Many rides also exit via gift shops and you often have to walk through hotel gift shops to refill your drink mugs.

I agree with this giftshop, especially for that age. They sell some different items there and it is themed really for kids.

I think the name of that gift shop is The County Bounty or something like that. still can't remember for sure.

I am going to have to be on the lookout for this store this time when we go, I missed it last year

I kinda kicked myself last time- I was scouring DTD for gifts for the twins right before we left. I found a cute little Pluto dog at the toy store at DTD, but wasn't sure... so we went to WoD, then I decided we'd get the animals, well, there were NO Plutos at WoD. The animal selection was much better at the toy store!!! And of course, we were beginning to push our time... so I had to go with Donald. (Nothing against Donald, but I really liked that little Pluto!)

County Bounty is great for kids. The Emporium and MouseGear are also great.

The ultimate giftshop for everything under the sun is World of Disney in downtown Disney - that place is nightmarishly huge! As in, take two cellphones if you split your party... we lost each other for a good half hour in there!

Word of advice: be reasonable with souvenirs, but if your child finds something they absolutely love, don't fall intot he "we'll buy it before we leave" trap. You may not make your way back to that gift shop again, and even if you do, the item may be gone. Been there, done that (at County bounty, no less).

Luckily for us, a kind CM spent a lot of time on the phone and in the back, where he was finally able to find one Duchess stuffed toy that my DD had fallen in love with earlier in the week (and her numbskull father had decided to wait on it).

To this day, I thank that guy.

I like the giftshop in the AKL. Obviously a personal preferance, but all the elephants and big cats kind of pull me in.

My dd also love this one, I think it is at the Barn Storm meet and greet.

The other one she loves is the downtown disney, with all the princess statues around and lego people near by. The selection is great, build a potato head and other selections.

And third is the one shop on Main st. on the way out of the park.

OHHHH I didn't even think of there. Do you mean at the hotel or park? My daughters LOVES animals so might be worth stopping there.
