hey everyone! Just curious if anyone has used this company before and how it was for them. I was thinking of setting up some sort of surprise for my family or just me and my DH this december through them .. but I'm not really sure what to do honestly and just wanted to see if I could get some idea of how they do things.

I hope it's ok to post this here! sorry if it's not.

thanks everyone! :thumbsup2

They are a great company from the reports here on the DIS. They are supposed to be on the podcast I think next week.

awesome safetymom! can't wait to hear the next podcast then! :thumbsup2

We did a live call with Jane from Gifts of a Lifetime on this weeks podcast.

I think you will be surprised at what her company can do!!!

Do it, Do it, Do it!!!

I was given a Dream of a Lifetime for my birthday in WDW a few years ago and it was just that: a Dream of a Lifetime. Call them. Pixie Jane and the cast are unbelievable. I can not say enough about how personal, warm and professional they are. Even if you do not know exactly what you want to do...they will help you figure out the PERFECT package.

The website giftsofalifetime.com is pretty neat; has a lot of suggestions and pictures of what they have prepared for guests.

I used them twice.

For my dh's 40th we sent him on a Villain Scavenger Hunt through DHS. To this day he says it was one of the most fun things he's ever done. Very memorable.

Then we used them for my ds' 10th birthday. We were there for Star Wars Weekend so he got a Star Wars Scavenger Hunt. Excellent time!

Dd keeps asking when she's going to get hers, LOL!

Can't say enough nice things about them - class act, creative, fun and the memories make it worth the money!

thanks everyone :thumbsup2 .... the interview was awesome and now I've got a lot of things to consider. My mother LOVES christmas ornaments and always has to go into the christmas shop at DTD when we visit so maybe we could do the christmas ornament scavenger hunt. :magnify:

Loved loved loved the Gifts of a Lifetime segment...might have to look into that for our trip in September for our anniversary!

that Jane was on the Podcast this week. I had posted about her last week without even knowing she was going to be on the show. She is GREAT.

:goodvibes

This sounded amazing! What a neat company. It sounded like my dream job!! Now only if I could move to Orlando  If anyone uses them or has used them, I would love to see a trip report, it sounds so cool!

I used them for DH's birthday a couple of years ago. It was an Epcot scavenger hunt (kind of amazing race kinda thing) that he LOVED. Jane is very fun and professional and does an amazing job with the hunt and surprises. Jane gets tons of info on the questionaire when booking so she can cater to the recipients likes...DH had to do some drinking (she asks specifically on alcohol) which was perfectly fine with him.....he had a great time.

We did get some pics of Jane and her Pixies, but she asks that you don't post them on the internet so she can remain in pixie stealth mode on all "gifts". Now that I think about Kevin in his green tights, keeping those pics under wraps may continue to be a good idea;)

G.O.A.L. is fantastic! I highly recommend them as they provide an amazing experience and Jane is so wonderful.
I arranged a birthday Stitch themed scavenger hunt for my wife a couple years ago that was absolutely amazing and so much fun! Clues were hidden all over the park, starting with a location by the castle. The hardest part was convincing my wife that I really really wanted to look at the castle from this certain viewing area! She thought I was nuts, until I pointed out that there was a note for her stuck in the wall. That was her first clue. :)
We had such a good time searching for her clues all over the park and then when we got to the last clue, she found out that Stitch liked her present soo much, he stole it and took it back to our room at the resort. That way she didn't have to carry it around the rest of the day. Jane thinks of everything!

If you want to do something very unique and very fun, I highly recommend contacting G.O.A.L.. I'll be chatting with her again to do something fun for my nieces during our October trip!
