This year I received a Christmas themed music box, a gift card for a restaurant I've never heard of, and a split of champagne. I'm not complaining as I know many bosses don't do anything for their employees.

She has 4 employees in her department- and we got $20.00 Visa giftcards. Which we can definately use, we work at a bank and it just got bought out by a larger bank.

DH's job is only going to be around until the end of Jan. He does still get his year end bonus. If you are talking about a gift actually out of the pocket of his boss then it was a $25 gift card to Chilis.

In my office, we decided to pool all our money and donate it to the local Food Bank this year. It's nice--I didn't get a lot of stuff I didn't need.

We had a Holiday Party with pizza from a local place that is being investigated by the Health Department. Since there is a projector in the meeting room, it was decided to watch a holiday movie. They played _The 5th Element.

I am my own boss. I gave myself nothing.

My husband got a 5% bonus and the news that there is salary freeze next year. It is much better than a lay-off and at least now we know our budget.

Nothing. But I did find out what he gets his secretary (I asked because she's nominally my seceretary and I wanted to know if he and I could go in on something). She gets about a $350 gift card or check.

She does, however, have to put up with my boss all year. And she does so magnificently. She totally deserves it.
