When we went down in March we were on ME and pulled up to our resort AsSp. When we got there the was two cast members there holding some balloons and stuffed animals to give to a family that got of ME with us.. I was wondering how you can go about doing that?? We dont want to get a special package but order a couple of things we want to do for DS.. This will be his first trip and would like him to get all kinds of magic on this trip.. All we want to do is have a stuffed animal of Pluto which is his favorite and a couple of balloons.. And maybe mickey ears.. If anyone knows how to go about this and info is greatly appreciated.. thanks again ahead of time!!!

I'm not sure how they got that arangment, but I would love to know. I look at the florist web site and did not see anything about it, but I might call them in the morning and see what they say. One thing that we do that you might like to try is to buy a bunch of small gifts and stuffed Disney characters at our local Disney store. I then get Disney themed gift bags at Walmart ( we have 3 kids so I do one for each) and some snack and pack it all up in one of our suitcases. Before we head out to the park on our second day I'll find a reason to go back into the room after we have all left ( such as I need a different pair of shoes or I need to oull my hair back) and I put the gift bags together and leave them on the bed. When we get back they see taht Mickey has been by and left a gift for them. My 10 year old has figured it out by now, but he still enjoys the goodies.

Normally, all orders from the Disney Florist are either delivered to the guest room after they check in or they are presented at the front desk. OP, if you say CMs standing with the gifts waiting for a guest to get off the ME, it was probably a special situation such as a Make A Wish family. The CMs don't normally have any idea when a guest will be arriving on the ME and they don't have the man power to wait for them with gifts. Also, the resorts have a very limited supply of items to give to guests. Under special circumstances, they order from the Disney Florist.

Disney florist does a great job! My DD and DN (teenagers) were both given Mickey stockings filled with goodies over Thanksgiving and they loved them! We didn't get them until later that evening but they were delivered to the room. I was given a Disney tote bag once from my sister and mom for my birthday and again it was very nice. You can have them change things around and add what you want in your "bag" too. It isn't cheap, but what a memory it makes!!
