giftcard expiry date ?

We will be receiving a giftcard from WDTC UK as we booked a package with them. I am wondering, if we have money left on the card can we save it for the next trip ? Or does it expire like your dining credits ? Thanks !

They don't expire so you can save the balance for next time. You must be very thrifty - it only takes me a few minutes to blow $200 on a gift card

I would just check that... most giftcards deactivate if they have not been used in 12 months.

But also... I agree with PP! It did not take us long to spend that $150! Xx

I know .... but this time we have 2 gift cards to spend so I was thinking maybe we will have some balance left. Anyway... it's good to know that we can leave it for another trip !

Disney may be different... i just know that Debenhams deactivate cards if they havent been used for 12 consecutive months! Xx

I just had a look at the back of a gift card (DD was collecting the different pictures ) There is no expiry date - have a look Here

I agree with the two pp's though, it won't take you long to spend the balance! our $300 card was gone in a flash; have fun spending

I asked when we were there in September this year as I found it easier to load a few hundred $$ onto a gift card every few days rather than pull out ID with every purchase to pay by credit card and both CM's I asked said that the funds will remain on the card if I didn't spend it all (I did though!)

Always a good idea to check, but that was fairly recently confirmed

When reading on the US threads people said you can put the balance on the room and then when you charge tips and drinks that arent included on DDP to the room it comes off the gift card!
