Any suggestions for girls of this age? :santa: Looking for any ideas for any "must have" gifts or just good ideas. Thanks in advance for your help

My DD is 4, but, some of her friends are 5 and they are all into anything Monster High, Barbie and Lalaloopsy. My friends DD is 8 and she loves Monster High too!

My neices fall in this age range. They love monster high dolls and the La Dee Da dolls.

DD is nearly 8 and she loves Monster High as well.

She's pretty easy to buy for, honestly. She still sort of likes the princesses, but she doesn't really want her friends to know. She loves Littlest Pet Shop, Zoobles, Legos. Anything little that have a ton of pieces. She also loves American Girl dolls and REALLY wants another one this year (which isn't even remotely in the budget, and completely my fault since I wanted to buy her her first one last Christmas, and my bf told me I was just reliving my childhood and she would never know about them if I didn't start this mess)

From Santa, she's asking for an Easy Bake Oven, another Fidgit friend and one of their small friends and that diary that is voice controlled I think. I really hate all of the things she's asked for from Santa, though the diary is tolerable.

My DD is 6 and loves American Girl dolls and all of their accessories, Polly Pockets, any of the princesses (especially Rapunzel and Cinderella) and all kinds of arts and crafts. She also really loves shoes, but I'm not sure that most kids would love to get a pair of shoes like she would!

DD6 & DD7 are both really in to American Girl dolls. Costco has a nice bundle with a mini-doll and the set of books. DD7 (almost 8) loves to read, Ivy & Bean is a nice series. DD6 really wants some Littlest Pet Shop for xmas. I really want to get them both an iPod touch, but we'll see how the budget pans out. They're on my iPhone and our iPad all the time. I've got a lot of education apps already for them, plus games and videos. We have two old iPod touches from before they had cameras. DD7 loves to record videos of herself and they both love taking pictures.

Is there a girl that age that doesn't like a fresh pack of crayons or markers and a new coloring book or paper pad? My girls love to use my washi tape from my scrapbook supplies. I could probably get them each some washi tape and a pad of paper and a pair of scissors and they'd be happy for hours!

Clothes can be fun too. Funky tights or socks. Socks from LittleMissMatched. Fuzzy scarf and gloves.

Then there are the beauty supplies: lip smackers, nail polish (scented or sparkly is cool), head bands, hair clips.

So... I've got three girls... I do a lot of girl shopping!!!

My 8 yr old DD absolutely loves all things Monster High. She has asked for a few more of the dolls and the coffin bean playset. I got a great deal on that at Costco - the set came with two dolls instead of 1 for about the same price. Costco also had a monster high makeup kit. She's asked for Color Splashers, a furby (anyone have any reviews? seems kind of pricey to me)? I am also converting an old Barbie dollhouse into a Monster High dollhouse. I was inspired from the poster last year that did it and posted here. I will surprise her on Christmas morning with that. I think she will be thrilled! I just wanted to mention to the poster above that said her dd wanted the ipod touch ....we bought it last year for our dd and she has consistently played with it every single day. I don't regret spending the $$ on it one bit. The thing I love about it is that it has facetime....being that she is only 8 she doesn't have a cellphone BUT she brings her ipod to friends houses and she calls me on facetime if she needs anything or messages me. It's great. She also has alot of fun facetiming with her friends. Good luck!

DD will be 8 the week before Christmas and her big things this year are also American Girl and Monster High. I'm getting her the Create-a-Monster lab and an add on set to go with it and I got several AG accessories. She's also getting some Squinkies, Moshi Monsters, books, craft stuff (she wanted Gelarti and Toys R US has it buy 1 get 1 40% off right now) and probably a DS and a Wii game.

We're probably getting a Kindle Fire as a family gift so she'll like that a lot as well.

Oh, her other thing is Harry Potter! Her brother (4) is starting to get into Legos so I'm looking into a Harry Potter lego set for her since she's wanted to play with his. And she's getting a body pillow and fleece blanket and an outfit or two from Justice.

Um, I think I need to stop shopping! LOL :goodvibes

If you're referring to me... you don't have to see me on the value! We have two iPhones, an iPad 2, two iPod touches and a shuffle (and a macbook). But I also have three daughters, two that would enjoy an upgrade, and we're gifting them with a trip to Disneyland for xmas. They're not even asking, I want to get them the iPod touches! :goodvibes

DD wants the bitty twins from AG. My older nieces are into AG. Things I'm getting depending on the varying age ranges of DD and nieces are:
* Zingo -- regular and sight words
* cash register
* games including iPieces games, Lakeshore fishing game
* airhunterz bow and arrow set
* ticket to local hockey game
* dress-up clothes -- Zulily had some great little adventure ones for $10
* calico critters stuff -- left over from last Decembers 50% off sale on Amazon
* scientific explorer magic for wizards kit
* craft stuff -- make your own book, etc.
