Hi everyone! I had a quick question about Gift/Prepaid Cards:

Now that it seems WDW is going to be more "cashless", we would like to give the kids some sort of card for them to make their own purchases throughout the resort and theme parks.

What is the best way of doing this? I kinda like the idea of a prepaid card where I can reload it if needed, but I think there are certain fees attached to them.

How are you all handling? Thanks and be well!!!

We buy Disney giftcards for our kids. Each kid gets a card with their name on it for the trip and gets to decide what they want to buy. My kids stay with us the majority of the time (14, 14, 10 & 9) so we're available for other purchases like food/snacks--their cards are purely for souvenirs.

I do a Disney gift card for my daughter so she has her own money to spend. One suggestion is that you register it with Disney on their gift card webiste so that if it is lost, you can transfer the balance to a new card (hopefully) before it gets emptied.
