Gift Opinion for Fathers Day....

A friend on my mommy board makes Tie Dye shirts and she has agreed to make me the mickey head tie dye shirt. She tried one and it came out fantastic. I want to give matching shirts to my husband and son for fathers day. Do you think I should get them in the traditional tie dye swirl or do them in Christmas colors since our trip is at christmas time. Or do you suggest something more along the lines of man colors like army green and chocolate. I am not the fashion guru by any means. I think it is unique because you cant buy them in a store. Thanks for your help.

I think it's a great idea, from the FWIW department. I think either would work, given the date of your travel plans.

As for wildeoscar's Princess Leia idea, well, as they say, gold bikinis never go out of style.

It's funny because I thought about trying to make them using red, white and blue since we will be there for July 4th. I like the idea of Christmas colors if that is when your trip would be. Then have a family picture taken in front of one of the many beautiful decorations and there is your Christmas card!

I could in no way ever attempt a tie dye shirt. I am creatively challanged that way. This girl on my private mommy board makes them. She has some iternet shop. Here is the link she will email you a picture of the shirt if you ask her too.

She really takes pride in her work and will do whater you like. I sent her a picture from here with directions and she made them better than the picture I sent.

Nope, I just got a tie-dye tag.

When they first created the Creative DISigns Board I spent alot of time posting and making matching t-shirts for my family (Never did the tie-dye cuz DH refuses to wear it). And I think the Tag Fairy was a little tipsy one night handing out tags. I have no idea what it means. But hey, it's a tag, I'll take it.
