Hi everyone! I am very excited reading about all of your weddings. It sounds like so much fun. My DH and I will be married 10 years next month and honeymooned at Disney with 25 members of DH's family! We've been many times since then, but now I have kind of a wedding question for all of you.

My DH is currently deployed. We are doing Disney's 7 nite Western Caribbean cruise in May, 2006 when DH returns. We are also booking the vow renewal package for on the ship through Disney Fairytale Weddings.

My qustion involves are three kids (10, 7 and 4--at cruise time) I would like to involve them in our vow renewal. At that point where DH and I exchange rings (hopefully with a Diamond upgrade for me!!!), I would like to have sentimental meaningful gifts for the kids as well. My daughter (the oldest) will be easy. I am thinking a locket engraved with the date, etc. for her. My boys are a little harder. Pocket watches have been suggested but I know I would have to take them away from them relatively quickly or they would get lost or broken. Do any of you have any other ideas for 7 and 4 year old boys ?

I thought maybe since you all are planning your weddings,you would have ideas for "ring bearer" type gifts that are sentimental.

My idea is a little dry. The point is to have something that they will always have right? I would do one of the baskets, that can be delivered to the stateroom, for each of them. But also, I would do some Disney stock for each child. Quite, honestly I think that it is a good investment. But with the basket they get something to play with as well. Another thing you could do is a scavenger hunt for them to find their baskets. Either way I know that you are going to have a GREAT time.
