Gift Ideas for Your MOH and BM?

hi there - if you all don't mind sharing - what did you or what are you getting as gifts for your Maid of Honor and Best man?

We don't have a large wedding party - just these two . We are leaning towards portable DVD players for them.

You are a better friend than I am! Can I be a bridesmaid too? I'm just giving my girls jewlery boxes with a bracelet and a pair of mickey earrings and the guys are getting pocket watches...total came to about $30 each, lol. I'm so cheap...but we had a total of 8 to buy for (parents too)....and they really are pretty.

oh Diane, you're not cheap at all - that's alot of people to buy for! and you have to remember my MOH is my daughter and after our dilemma this weekend, JJ has decided to ask his only nephew to be his BM .... and we only have his Mom to buy for and that's done... I'm just not sure if these gift idea's are too over the top - looking to see what everyone else has planned ..

And I don't think it's over the top at all...I'm sure I read that someone else was doing the same (and she had loads to buy). I'm sure your daughter and nephew will LOVE them!

Hi Michelle,

I have been working on this alot lately too, I dare not post on my wedding thread since I know my MOH reads that, but she doesn't have time to check out the rest of the boards. I have gotten each member in my wedding party a gift special to them. Since my MOh favorite character is Pooh, I got her Pooh polo shirts (thats all she ever wears) and a pooh garden statue she is really into gardening. I really don't feel that its enough since she has helped me so much. Hope that kinda helps.

We didn't have a WDW wedding (got married in Jamaica while on a cruise) but we gave our attendants individual gifts as well. MOH and her dh (a groomsman) got a joint gift of a BBQ grill, the best man received a framed Ansel Adams print (he's a professional photographer) and we gave my sister (a bridesmaid) a wishbowl..which she (they were MUCH cheaper 7yrs ago!).

I was much happier giving them things that they would love and use rather than a more traditional attendant gift.

They are from pursenickity.net . I found her on ebay. She was extremely quick and worked with my design. I don't have them yet but from the picture she sent me I LOVE them!

I also got some other stuff for my MOH and the rest of the group. Hopefully I can update my PJ soon and share

Hi there, I got my 3 bm's:

1 jcrew canvas bag, filled it with starfish flip flops, starfish socks, and a pashmina shawl that they can use for the wedding.

Simple, but I know that the girls can use these in the future so i thought it was practicle. Hope that helps!

I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to put in them yet. For my MOH I was going to put a pair of flip flops....maybe some lotion...and I bought her a black leather mickey journal from amazon so she could start keeping trip notes. I'm really hoping to update my PJ this weekend or early next week...so when I do I'll post pictures of all the gifts I've gotten for my group so far. I've been without a camera (DF broke it) and its driving me crazy!

that's a great gift!! and I love that they make the ears in so many different styles now - they can be individualized for each person if you want!

A nice gift is also a basket from Basin. There is one in the GF now that is fabulous! I had no problems ordering a basket and having it delivered to the correct hotel. They were wonderful to work with and they took my Annual Pass discount.

Oh, I LOVE Basin - they are my first stop every trip so I can purchase bath bombs for the jacuzzi! I'll have to check out their baskets when we visit!
