I could use a little DIS dust
...here's the situation: DS will be entering 1st grade Tuesday and no longer be at the daycare he's attended since the ripe old age of 8 months! Now, I'd like to get the lady (& her daughter--they run the daycare together in her home) a little something since he won't be going on a regular basis....well, not at least until next summer that is! Come summer, he'll probably be going back 2x a week, just for the summer. What do you think an appropriate gift is?? I have always been "under the table" daycare ($25/day) and not paid if he didn't go (if he or I were sick for example). We would like to buy everyone pizza for his last day and that will probably run me about $40-$45. So, any ideas as a "so long till summer" gift(s)???
TIA for the help and ideas!
