A wonderful surprise arrived today from Disney.
If you have read my recent trip report you will remember that we were very concerned about crowds in the studios whilst watching the HSM show. Just as it was about to start approx 2,000 people came out of the stunt show into the same area and as no crossing area had been left for them they were pushing past everyone lining up to watch the show and CMs were forcing people to move to one side, only to find the vacant space was then filled by others meaning people were then forced to move aside again. DD and other children who were sitting on the road side were in serious danger of being stood on and squashed.
DH had a lengthy discussion about this at Guest relations where they commented on welcoming feedback such as this to help them. It resulted in us being made stars of the day in the studios and riding in the parade.
We were also asked to write a letter outlining these concerns. DH did this and a reply arrived today.
First of all apologising for the delay in replying (its only been 1 mth so not too bad), then again thanking us for the feedback and reassuring us that they have looked into this and adjusted times. A selection of gifts was also included for DD
-A Mickey watch (retailing at 15E)
- A set of gel pens (7E)
- Princess activity kit (7E)
This on top of the treat of riding in the parade was fantastic and this just proves that Disney do listen to, welcome, and act on constructive criticism
