My DD is in 2nd grade and instead of sending work with her to do on our trip to WDW next week, she kept her after school a few days and helped her complete everything she would miss. Which most of you know means so much not to have to worry with the extra work while on vacation. I would love to bring her teacher back something special from WDW for the kindness she has shown. Any suggestions????

Unless you know that she is a disney fan, I suggest food. There are tons of food gift choices that are yummy and people will enjoy eating them whether they are shaped like Mickey Mouse or not!!!

There are some really cute gift sets that the teacher might enjoy. I got my sister an Alice in Wonderland-themed tea pot that came with a tea ball and loose tea. I also bring gifts from Disneyland for our neighbor girls who pick up our mail. Once I got them mugs that were wrapped up with packets of hot chocolate and cookies. If you know whether the teacher likes coffee, there are assortments of coffee in cute little tins. I would love getting any of these things from one of my students!

I'm not a teacher, but I'm a huge fan of their executive collection pens. I usually find them in MouseGears. I think I've seen them in the Emporium too - and I'm sure WOD probably has them. They usually run between $15 and $25. They are fancy refillable Disney pens. The Disney aspects of them are pretty subtle, so it is good for people who aren't huge on Disney. It is also a refillable pen, so you can keep it for years unless you lose it. I have 4 of them in different styles, and I've brought them back for a few people and they have gone nuts over them. I have one friend who isn't a Disney person at all, who asked if I could pick her up another one. I have one that is silver lattice work with blue undeneath, and if you look closely you see that the latticework is actually mickey heads. That one is my favorite. They have several styles though- ranging from pink and silver princess with a crown with pink crystals on top, to a masculine one that is just a silver pen with a subtle micky head on the clip and a black rubber pen grip near the tip that has tiny Mickey heads. They have one of the styles in the Disney Parks section of the Disney Store right now- I have that one and I really like it. I call it the blingy one. I want to say it was the highest priced of the executive pens (although I think they even had some higher priced pens in a different section):

Teacher and Disney Fan....I recommend pens, pencils, usable desk supplies.

I think a teacher, even if not a Disney fan, could enjoy using fun Disney type supplies at school, because the kids would enjoy seeing them.

2nd grade teacher here! They have really neat bracelets in Africa in WS made from recycled park maps. The character pens are fun, too. We brought them back for my dd's school secretaries and we see them used every day!
