Something for the home...dish towels, soap dispenser, basically anything from Bed, Bath and Beyond or Linen's N Things that is in the price range. Use the $5 or 20% off coupons (BB&B and LNT take each other's coupons). Also, a nice, generic serving platter (could load it up with home-made appetizers or dessert) would make a nice gift. Have fun shopping!

I just moved into a new home and the one fairly inexpensive thing that I LOVE are the Bath and Body Works Wallflowers. They really make your new home feel like home with that welcoming scent.

PS I'm so sorry, I can't resist, but principal is spelled PAL at the end. I will always remember because we were taught in school that your principal is your pal and that's how you can remember Just confused me when I saw the thread. I thought it was going to be about giving Christmas gifts out of principle I need to go to bed

starbucks has gorgeous coffee mugs not too expensive and you fill it with the inexpensive gum/candy by checkout or they have little purses made of felt with a snap to put a gift card in and hang on the coffee mug handle . Really cute.

With all due respect, it is "principal." I'm not trying to be mean, but if you label a gift as To the Principal, I hope you'd want to spell it the correct way. After all, she is at least, in thoery, an educator.
