I am starting to think about a great gift for my new hubby on our wedding day. Anyone have any suggestions. We don't want to spend hundreds. I was thinking under 50.00. It can be Disney/Non Disney.

This christmas I bought my fiance a "plug and play" video game system. I picked one up at a cart at our local mall. He just plugged the control into his VCR and it has over 70 games programed into the controler. He LOVES it! It has all the really old Nintendo games that he grew up with. It was only $40, most definitely worth it. If this interests you I can ask him to send me a link where you can buy one online. My fiance isn't even too into video games, but he loves his plug and play.

I plan on getting him an iPod for our wedding gift, and I know those are expensive but you can also find other mp3 players for around $50.

And a third idea is getting him a nice shaving kit. I found a really nice one at Crabtree and Evelyn. They have a men's line, Nomad I think is the name of it, and it smells fantastic. The kit I got my DF was only about $40, and it came with a nice travel case.

I got my fiance a plug and play for christmas too. He is crazy about it as well. He loves all those old games.

What kind of things is your DF into inloveindisney? I've always been told that unlike ladies, men like things they can use... If he's into tools, I would get him a top of the line tool, or a really nice tool box. If he likes to look nice, maybe a name brand watch, wallet.
I'm thinking that my gift to my df will be a secondary wedding ring. He loves working on cars or anything outside, so I am going to give him a ring that he can wear that we won't mind scratching up...maybe I will even have it engraved, who knows?!

OMG! I just brought this thread up to my DF. He wasn't too keen on the idea of the ring. :headache:

He then wanted to know what I thought of my potential gift... A Dodge Durango :earseek: Aak! We don't need to start out life in debt, and how can I compete with that!

Moral of this story, don't listen to my advice about gifts, I seem to be an undergifter...

I thought the traditional gift to give to a husband on the wedding was a watch.
