Not sure where to post this, so please let me know if this is an inappropriate location.
We have been on 3 recent Disney trips ('15, '16, and '17) and are planning one for '18 as well. I have an acquaintance that I went to high school with (20 years ago) that is a cast member, and she reached out to me on Facebook when I posted about needing Disney tips back when we were planning our first trip, to let me know she works for Disney and she could get us a discount.
She did indeed get us a 40% room only discount, and said we could contact her any time in the future. We didn't know at that time that we'd become Disney nuts and want to go all the time, haha. We don't talk much aside from the communication about the discount (she lives in FL, previously she was on Disney Cruise Lines so she wasn't even reachable often) so I feel awkward each and every time I contact her about planning another trip, but she is always very gracious and doesn't make me feel like I am a burden.
That said, I would really like to send her a gift. She has literally saved us hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I don't "know" her well, but would like to send her a gift card or something that she can use. She works for Disney World, and visits resorts/parks/etc. frequently. I thought about a Disney gift card, but wasn't sure if that was the best option. As I said, I don't "know" her very well so I don't know what her favorite stores are at Disney Springs etc.
Anyone have any tips?? I appreciate it!
Thanks!
