Gift Cert. to Resort Restaurants

Does anybody know how one would go about purchasing a gift certificate to a resort restaurant (or even if this is possible)?

DH's aunt has MS and finds shopping very difficult. Ever year for our anniversary she sends us a lovely gift certificate to a local restaurant (we are foodies so we love to eat out). This year we thought we would request a gift cert. to a Disney restaurant to use on our fall trip. The only place we know for sure we want to eat so far is at Artiste Point. Can she just call the resort, order the gift. cert and pay over the phone with her Visa? Will they mail it to us?

Anybody done this before?

I don't know about gift certificates but you can use Disney Dollars anywhere onsite. You might be able to purchase the Disney Dollars online. Anyone else have more info?

I asked around about buying Disney Dollars on-line last month and everyone said you couldn't. You have to buy them at a Disney Store. I bet your aunt could call a Disney Store and charge them over the phone! Maybe they would mail them to her.

If they are going to close all the Disney Stores, they'll have to come up with some way to buy Disney Dollars!
