Gift Cards

Hello! I'm going to Disneyland in August for one LOOOOONG day. We are going to be there from morning until the bitter end of the day. We're doing both parks and loosely planning on heading to Downtown Disney at some point in the day, either for lunch or dinner.

I'm trying to buy as many GC as I can before we go. My question is about Downtown Disney and the GC. Can the GC be used there? Are there certain restaurants that take them for sure or not take the for sure? Anyone know of a website with the lists of restaurants or stores at DD? Or a website that will list where GC are usable?

I appreciate any replies!!

Most places in Downtown Disney do not accept Disney Giftcards as far as I know. World of Disney will. You can use Disney Giftcards at the Disney Hotels if you want to eat at the restaurants. You can use the Giftcards almost everywhere inside CA and DL however, even the carts. It seems like the Ghiraldi chocolate shop does not take Giftcards in CA, please correct me if I'm wrong

Yes ghirardelli doesn't take Disney gc or room key charge.

The only thing that is acceptable at almost all restaurants is ...... an Annual Pass for discounts!!
15% for Premier & Premium & 10% for Deluxe .

Be aware, the Downtown Disney restaurants (non-Disney) offer different discounts, and don't usually differentiate between passes. For example, House of Blues gives all passes 15% (excluding alcohol) off food all day, and Rainforest gives 10% prior to 4pm. Also, Napa Rose doesn't offer any discount.
