Gift cards

Does WDW accept Disney Store gift cards? I am thinking of getting 2 and loading them with money for my kids this way they can buy what they want, when they want.

WDW does not accept Disney Store gift cards. That being said, you can buy Disney gift cards at the Disney Store and these Disney gift cards are accepted at WDW. Make sure that the ones you're buying are just Disney and not Disney Store.

I never knew there was a difference. I always just go in and buy gift cards. Never knew there was a difference. I used to buy the Disney dollars...now they don't have them, I use the gift cards.

My DS went on a band trip in January and I had family get him Disney gc's as Christmas gifts and he had no trouble using them.

On the back, it tells you - it'll say someting like Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, etc.
