I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but since I have a bunch of Disney giftcards now can they be used to pay for park tickets? I saw online that the only options to pay are credit card and visa rewards card. Maybe if I call and order on the phone? Or do I maybe need to wait and buy them when we get there?

I'm assuming you're buying multi-day passes.

If you're near a Disney Store or Disney Outlet store, you can purchase multi-day passes using multiple gift cards. Else, you'd have to wait until you get down to WDW.

If ordering online, I'm pretty sure you can only use one gift card per transaction. Also, I know you can't buy single day passes at the Disney Store.

At the ticket windows we can accept an unlimited number of Disney Gift Cards for ticketing transactions. My personal record is accepting 37 DGCs for one multiple AP transaction.

Could you use them to pay for the Disney YES tickets? That would be over the phone only (or online but it sounds like you couldn't do it online.)

We have done the YES tickets for the past 3 years and I highly doubt we will stop by next year even with the parents needing to pay more.

You CANNOT use Disney gift cards to pay for YES tickets. They only accept credit cards.

Thank you, that is what I thought but I wanted to ask.

What about non-expiring tickets? Can you get those at the gate or use the gift cards somehow? We are strongly considering getting one at least for DH since he goes far fewer days than we do (during his conference.)

...assuming the tax rate could be different. What is it in FL at WDW?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you're charged the Florida tax rate, even if you buy the tickets at an out-of-state Disney Store. That's because you're using the tickets in Florida.

IIRC, someone from a non-sales-tax state wondered about the tax charge, and that's what was told.
