Yes, you can! I used a gift card to purchase event tickets through the Gay Days link. It takes you to a special conference page that looks like the Disneyland website so you can use gift cards or a rewards redemption card just like you would be able to do on the regular website. I was surprised, but it worked!

If you are staying on site, you can add the tickets to your hotel reservation and pay for both tickets and hotel with gift cards when you check in.

Nice, when was this? For Fall 2016 dapper days I could not purchase with a Disney gift card on the website, I even called and they said no. The only way to purchase with gift card was to add the tickets to my on-site room reservation which meant paying at the hotel so I could use gift cards.
