Gift Cards or Certificates?

Can you purchase Disney Gift Cards or Certificates to use at the parks or restaurants? I was thinking of getting one or something like it as a stocking stuffer. Since the Disney store was bought by Childrens Place I don't know if they sell them or would accept them at WDW. I don't even know if they still sell the Disney Dollars.

Yes they sell Disney Dollars. I was buying them weekly for our upcoming trip.

The giftcards they sell are only good at the DISNEY STORE. You can not get them in the park.

So I would buy the Disney Dollars. It was a great way for me to save up for our trip.

I am going to start again when I get back for our next trip. Easy and Painless. I ended up with 200.00 this trip alone.

There are also new Dining and Merchandise Gift Cards for sale at WDW - they're available in all the shops, and they're good for all food and merchandise at WDW.

Can you buy the Disney dollars at the Disney Store and use them at WDW? Also, the merchandise and gift cards..can they be ordered online? I wanted to get them ahead of time..when I have some extra money here and there. Thanks!

thank you for that phone#! I read on WDW site that they take them in "select" stores and restaurants at WDW. They should take it at any of them. I'll have to ask when I call. Thanks!

Yes you can buy Disney Dollars at the Disney store and use them in WDW! They are good at WDW, DL, DLC (you would have to put them down against your card. and all Disney Stores.

I just ordered a gift card so that I could have our meals prepaid for. Disney shipped the card quickly but the do send it certified mail. I had to go to the post office to sign for the envelope because I was at work when they would deliver.
