Gift cards at the park

Basically anyplace with a cash register. This excludes any OVD w/o registers (most OVD in DL and ice cream carts in DCA lack registers). All the stores (even the gift/pin carts) and restaurants take them.

I was told by the CMs at the outdoor vendor towards the left of the castle while outside of Fantasyland that theirs is the only ODV that takes gift cards. Conveniently, they have lovely lattes and cookies. :)

You can even pay for tours with gift cards!

I use the giftcards everywhere but the outdoor vendors. See, instead of using cash or my card, and worry about losing cash or keeping track of 100 transactions, I buy giftcards and work off of those. Now, you can't use them at Rainforest Cafe, etc (though you can use Disney DOLLARS at Lego Store, according to the employee there in September), but World of Disney yes.

Yep, my parents bought DBF one for his birthday last month and he used it to buy us food and stuff at the park.. Like bumbershoot said, it is so much easier to keep your budget with that instead of using your ATM 150 times and everything.. I'm actually going to do that this next trip...

The first thing I do when I enter the park is buy a gift card and put a few hundred dollars on it. I keep it in my lanyard pocket with my AP. It's so handy because I don't have to dig in my purse for my wallet every time I want to buy something! A gift card is the only way to go!:thumbsup2
