Gift card /tips

We have the DDP and understand that tips will be paid separately. We also will be getting the 200 dollar gift card. I believe you can charge things to your room and would like to use the card to pay for the tips ( or at least some of them)Can you do this and will the tip go to your server. Having meals at JIKO and Grand Floridian.Do we just tell server we want tips charged to our room?

Yes, anything not covered by dining plan entitlements (tips, extra items ordered, upcharges, etc.) can be paid by any other payment method - cash, credit card, gift card, or room charge.

Depending on your length of stay and how much you're charging back to the room, you may want to go by the front office a couple days in to pay down the charges with your gift card. At some dollar point, they will charge the credit card on file. Also, you'll definitely want to go by the night before you check out as they will charge your CC around midnight for any remaining charges.
