Gift card/tipping @ V&A's...

I've been assured that I can use my gift card to pay for my V&A's dinner, but it suddenly dawned on me that I will need to leave the tip on there too. Is that even possible? HELP!

I used a Disney Gift Card to pay for my meal, used my TIW card for the discount and to see what the tip was going to be, then added more money to the tip line to be added on to the final bill. It is used just like any credit card. Got my receipt showing the amount I had left on my gift card.

Okay so, bear with me here I'm a little slow tonight... they bring the bill, I hand them my gift card, they bring the slip back and I sign and leave a tip, then they process the tip and bring me another receipt with my gift card balance on it??
