Gift Card Question

I apologize if this is a stupid question...can you use Disney gift cards on the European cruises? I know you can't use them at DL Paris, but can you use them for ship purchases (souvenirs, spa, etc)?

You'd pay with your "key to the world" card (your room key) and then you can pay off the balance due at guest serves with gift cards.
