Gift Card Promo Extended thru Aug.... No Free Dining?????

I saw that the $350/$700 gift card promo was extended thru Aug. 15th. Isn't this the typical time that free dining would come out? Could this be a precursor to no Free Dining this year??? that would make a stay on property for us a no-go.

FD usually begins the last two weeks of August, so it may be the next big announcment.

I would think that a new promotion would start 8/16 - when FD started last year. If anything I would say that the extention is good news. If they offer a good discount during their peak season, they must have something even better for the low season.

Even the BB FD offer last year was for check-ins 8/15/10 - 9/30/10.

Yes, and that is when FD started last year. WDW extended the 4/7 promo until I think the day before FD started.

Welcome to the boards! To get free dining you must pay rack rate for a room through Disney, so unfortunately you can't get free dining by renting DVC points or using them as a member. You can buy the dining plan at regular price but free dining is not available. By renting DVC points you are already getting a huge savings off rack rate so that is something to be happy about
