Gift card at the Disney Store

I was there today and a cast member told me starting tomorrow they are giving a free gift card if you spend $50.00 (or was it $60.00) Plus if you have the card for the free watch, you can use that too. I am going to pre order Beauty and the Beast.

I beleive it is a free gift card if you spend at least $50.00 and in that $50 you have Beauty and the Beast pre-ordered. I.E. Preorder B&TB and then get enough other merchandise to total $50.00 This would be really easy if you haven't already ordered Monsters yet either. Get the two movies and that's already close to $40.00. Plus--if you spend $30.00 you get a free watch. So for a $50.00 purchase if you do Monsters and B & TB plus another item or two you get: watch, lithographs for Monsters, lithogrpahs for B&TB and the gift card. At my TDS you don't need the card for the watch--everyone gets one.

At our Disney Store, if you pre-ordered Monsters Inc and spent $50, they gave you a $10 gift card. So, we were there tonight and preordered Monsters and Return to Neverland, also buying some summer clothes for my DS that were 50% off. Plus, I had a postcard for a free watch with $25 purchase. Our store also had the free watch without postcard but you had to spend $30. The best part was we were able to buy Disney Dollars with our gift card!

If you buy $50 Disney Dollars, will you get the gift card? Is the gift card a limit of one, or do you get one gift card for every $50 you spend (like you spend $100, you get 2 gift cards?)

My store was already selling Beauty and the Beast yesterday. I did the $50 to get the gift card!

If you do the $50 offer with B&B including Monster Inc and Beauty, I believe you'd loose out on one of the gift cards...and NOT get the Monster Inc. Gift Card. They want you to spend 2 individual $50 with each movie to get each gift card.

Also, you can not purchase Disney Dollars towards that $50. It states this right on the offer, however, you can use the gift card you receive to buy whatever you want including DD or even passes..

At my store, we are letting you choose between the gift cards if you pre-order both Monsters and B&B. nd yes, you must spend $100 including both pre-sales to get both gift cards. Also, more free stuff you can get... buy a plush, get a free pin, and everyone with a $30 purchase gets a watch, altho, I think that we probably ran out last night.

Ok, here is the real deal:

If you preorder Monsters, Inc and spend $50 including that preorder, you will receive a $10 gift card. The total must be $50 before tax and after any discounts like the Disney Card, or Disney Vacation Club.

If you preorder Beauty and the Beast and spend $50 including that preorder, you will receive a $10 gift card.

If you preorder both Monsters, Inc and Beauty and the Beast and have spent $100 including both of those preorders, you will receive both $10 gift cards.

These offers can be used in conjunction with the free watch when spending $30 with no post card, or the free watch when spending $25 with the post card. Only one watch per transaction while supplies last, and they are going FAST. And, as above, the total must be either $25 or $30 before tax, and after discounts.

Also, for every plush that you buy, you can receive a free pin of your choice. Does not include "beanie" types. Don't know how long this offer will last

Just my .02 cents here If you qualify/receive the $10 gift cards, and you make another separate transaction, you can use your gift card on that transaction, the same day. Just can't be used in the original transaction. So, if you are planning on buying a good bit of stuff with your presell and get the gift card, turn it around and buy several things in a separate transaction and use the gift card...immediate gratification!! and you save $10....won't hubby be happy
