Gift Baskets!!?????????

I'm posting this on the Canadian Forum because everyone else on here will have roughly the same stores as me, not Targets, and dollar tree's etc...

My family has a trip planned for Nov. 05. I know that's a ways, but I can't wait, so I'm passing the time by making Disney gift baskets for my sisters (will be 25, 18, I'll be 22). I'm kinda at a loss, so if any body has any ideas that could help me out, it would be muchly appreciated. I've already got/planned:

journals (printed, from mousesavers???)
individual drink packs (crystal light...)
thank-you cards to give to WDW staff (printed from other site)
rolls of quarters
rolls of pennies
candies for flight
various other snacks
Disney pencils (dollar store)
Disney erasers (dollar store)
Disney note pads (dollar store)
Disney sticky note pads (dollar store)
Disney temp. tattoos (dollar store)
Gift bags/boxes (for souveniers for friends, printed off various
other sites)
big marker (don't know what works, but are for autograph books)
Stationary (printed off print program with imported disney
graphics)
matching envelopes (from same print program)
A book of stamps (for mailing letters)
Disney C.D.'s (made off computer)

Keep in mind that some are still ideas, and I would like a few more to choose from, so ANY ideas are great!

Oh, yeah this is my favorite: I bought 3 cork boards from dollar store, some different colored felt, covered them with the felt, then put mickey heads in the center , and now I have 3 boards in mickey colors to store WDW pins on when we get back!!!

That sounds lovely. Where are these sites for the cards and
gift bags you printed off?

Perhaps you could add rain ponchos from the $ store, film for their cameras (if they use film) and bandaids.

How about Mousekeeping Envelopes and with Our Dollar doing so well, put some $ bills inside to boot!

Do you have a Dollarama (if not, you will soon) in your area, they usually carrry a good variety of Disney Stuff.

SunLotion, FannyPack, Lanyard, Look for the Friendship Pins in your area!

PamPam: For the cards, I believe I got them from DisneyDollarless website. As for the bags, I think the print shop program at my parents has a template to make them and I will just import graphics that have gotten off the internet. if that doesn't work I've got ones that i've downloaded off the internet that are not Disney, and I may try some sort or art program to remove their graphics, and add my own.

Scratch42- I've recently been seeing alot on these boards about Frienship pins. What are they? Are they Disney? Do they work for trading down there? If they do that'd be great, as I've looked at alot of stores in the city (short of Wal-Mart) and nowhere sells Disney Pins! Not even the Disney Store (they said too many got stolen)

The story behind the "Friendship Pins" were to celebrate Winnie the Pooh in Winnipeg. Buy when the Lawsuit came about Disney decided to pull the plug on the whole thing.

The pins were already made. I guess they were distributed to whomever whereby "Dollar Store" owners were at liberty to purchase them.

Someone on the boards found a bunch and made a query as to whether they were ligit. As it turned out they were.

A few of us went ahead and bought the lot.

So check you local Dollar Store, even ask. Who knows he might have them hidden in the back not realizing their true worth to us!LOL

Pins for trading????

My boys got hooked on the pin trading while we are down there and I have a fortune worth of pins here now.... some $ pins that are legit would be awsome.... so these are legit pin trading pins??? Were they on the black felt backing?? What kind of packaging??
