Shirley had posted in another thread that she was talking to a local "mom & pop" style florist/gift shop to put together baskets for the Mexican Riviera cruises. I'll try to find the thread & bump it up.

Since no one seems to know, I wonder if anyone has checked the Boards for Cruise lines that regularly sail out of LA.

No way you're going to find anyone as fine as Shirley since she has a rare PERFECT GIFT of graciousness and hospitality, but maybe you can find someone pretty close.

She felt they would take care of everyone and she explained how people send in things to her to add to baskets. didn't sound like it was a problem

Hello there - the folks I spoke with were Hank and Faye at Hillside Florist - now I left word for them to call me and they haven't yet, but then it is Valentine's week and busy - While I am on the subject of busy - I need to let all know that I am leaving here on Tuesday and coming back Thursday - my bestest friend also aka as my ex sister in law is very sick and in the hosptial so I am flying out to be with her - we have known each other since we were 14 and 15 yrs old and we are so very close that I need to be there - the shop will be open and in good hands - my sweetie Norm is staying home to watch over stuff.
Anyhow if you run into problems with gift baskets in CA - let me know and I will check out other options.

I went to the website, but didn't really see any gift baskets. Does anyone know of other florists in that area that might have gift baskets specifically for ships i.e. Bon Voyage? Thanks

I don't know of any but I think Shirley said (in another thread) that you'd have to call Hillside directly and they'll make up a basket for you. From what I recall she went through with them what she puts in her Disney baskets.
