Gift basket in room

Does anyone know how to go about having a gift basket sent to your room to be there when you check in? Does Disney offer a service like this or is there another place locally? I would love to have something waiting for my son when we got there. Thanks.

Typically, unless you are in concierge, you can't have items waiting in your room upon check-in. Until you are actually given your room keys, anything can happen and you wouldn't want someone else enjoying your magic.

As to who can deliver to the resorts, you can check out the Disney Florist at www.disneyflorist.com . I believe this is the only service that will guarantee it gets delivered to your room. You can also take a look at fellow DIS'er Feralpegs website at http://www.peggyssweetsandmore.com/ . These gift baskets are so cute. I think that she can deliver to the front desk of the resort and then it's up to their policy of whether you'll be called and notified that there's a package waiting for you, or if they have a CM available who can deliver it to your room.

We used our very own Feralpeg from the DIS and she was great! We had just entered our room when we heard a knock at the door. A bellman had brought our basket straight to our room! The basket was great! We had tons of candy and some plush bean bag dolls! She has many options to choose from!

We used Disney Florist before, and they were great!!! The basket was in our room when we returned from Downtown Disney shopping! My little girl was so surprised and she loved her stuff!!!

I also just used Feralpeg for our trip in June (stayed at Pop Century). Our basket was waiting in our room when we returned from dinner the first night. Again, my DD Loved her Lilo & Stitch, and the candy!!!

I would highly recommend either of these!

We also used Feralpeg last Oct when staying at Royal Pacific. When we returned from the parks she had delivered a beautiful basket for our daughters birthday.

We are planning on using her this Oct. again for our daughters b-day but this time it will be at POP.

I own a florist myself and I can definately complement her on her work. It is top notch.

We also used Peggy for two boxes last month. The first one was for my dd. It was given to her when we checked in. Only problem was that we didn't have our room yet. But, she sure did feel important. There were several kids crying to their parents..."I want one of those..how come she gets one and I can't. I want it." It was beautiful. And then I had one ordered for dh for Father's Day. It was waiting in our room when we came back mid-day!! Peggy does a very nice job and will work with you to get exactly what you are looking for!!!

Well, I just took a look at Peggy's website and pictures and they are adorable! Looks like she can do just about any theme you can think of!

She is going to make my son an adorable pirates theme basket for our up coming trip!
