:cool1: Need some suggestions:
I want to order 2 gift baskets from Shirley @ The Perfect Gift. I have a 13 year old girl and 9 year old boy. Anyone have any ideas for what to have her put in the baskets. Or - can you fill me in on what you may have purchased from her.

I still have a ways until my cruise, but I had a thought the other day for my DD 12 basket, what about those glow bracelets for pirate night? I thought that might be neat. I also will probably get her to throw in an underwater disposable camera, and a pair of binoculars. We are doing Land/Sea so I thought I could bring her one disposable for the land and have one in her basket for sea. Also, we are bringing one pair of binoculars, but I figured what the heck, 2 of us can look at once. Now, my bigger problem is the basket for my DH, it's our anniversary on the cruise so I would like to make it special, but have no idea what to put in a man's basket besides snacks.

Hey,
Have you looked at her website www.theperfectgift.cc yet? Her kids cruise baskets are SO cute. Some are in sand pails and have snacks and you can add Disney waterbottles and other stuff. You should take a look. I'm having the same problem you are, except I'm doing it for kids trapped in adult bodies. :flower:

Why not do a bottle of champagne, a corkscrew and flutes since it is your anniversary? I've heard of people having Shirley do that. Beer works too, guys love beer.

I ordered 2 baskets (Sand buckets, molds and shovels) from Shirley for our Jan. 3 day Wonder cruise. My sister also got one for her 3 kids. I have 2 boys 14 and 12. She did a Disney towel, numerous bottled waters, movie candy I told her what kinds they liked, Disney Gummies, Goldfish.
She can do many different things. Just call her and tell her what you think they'd like. She has cameras, sunglasses etc... They were absoutely beautifully done and wrapped and on the bed when we entered the cabin. My sister I think did one bucket and 1 item for each kid along with some snacks. A stuffed Mickey for the baby, sunglasses for the 5 year old girl and I forget what for the 4 yr. old boy but there's was nice too. I spent about $90 when all said and done. Shirley hooked mine together to get the one delivery charge for one basket instead of 2 . Call her she was great and easy to work with.
