Giclee Print Envy

Another IL household that hasn't seen it yet. Hoping we get it before leaving for the Member Cruise!

We just got ours yesterday by FedEx. I was beginning to think we weren't going to get it.

I just read on the member website that all DVC members should receive their print by 10/31/06. I posted a thread with the exact wording.

We just got ours Monday in Alabama.

Some Day My Print Will Come........... and ding dong when the bell, and there stood the FedEx man with my gift from DVC.

I did have to sign for mine, not sure what that is about.

But the FedEx guy said they had been given very special instructions to make sure they were handled carefully and not just leave them anywhere.

So I am sure that everyone will get one. I have no idea why some went out in the postal mail and some are going out by FedEX.

But just as I posted in another thread, I might be a ridiculously corny Disney fan, but it made my day, along with a little pumpkin' sent my way.

I really liked the candles, very creative.

So everyone just don't give up and if for some reason yours does not arrive, I would call on November 1 and let them know.

I have a feeling they are reading these threads and know we are all waiting.

Having read the numerous threads on this, I am pretty sure I got in the system too late (July) for this. Many Mainers received theirs over a week ago...so perhaps I will be in the last mailing as I am a new member, or as I said, just too late for this special gift.

If that is the case, there is always eBay for me....

There seems to be several DISers that got more than one and might not want the extra, and some that did not care for it.

Maybe a list could be started in November if some have not gotten one and share the joy and start a Giclee swap. I truly feel DVC will get one to everyone.

The FedEx man that brought mine was pretty adamant that this was a major delivery for them. He was holding it very carefully, which is unusual.

Especially since they have extras, I would think any lost in delivery will be taken care of.

Don't lose hope yet.

Now I'm one of the ones still waiting and watching for the mail/Fed Ex guy to show up!! I get a little blue everday the mailmand and Fed Ex guy pass my house without stopping by!!! Hopefully tomorrow.
